Paul was an Equity Analyst in the City for over 10 years, among the first to be focused on the gambling sector. He researched and reported on small and large gambling company stocks, as well as advising many companies in relation to IPO and M&A. During his time in the city he worked for a number of Investment Banks, most recently Investec and Collins Stewart (now Cannacord). Following on from this, he moved into the industry, as Corporate Development Director for leading gambling company William Hill, advising on retail strategy, regulatory issues, the racing industry, supply chain management, and M&A. Paul has proven strategic and analytical skills, as well as in depth sector knowledge and a broad range of industry and professional services contacts.
Dan advises a number of clients on the development of responsible gambling programmes and has also written extensively on regulatory matters. Prior to joining Regulus, Dan worked for nine years at The Rank Group, where as group strategy director he had responsibility for strategic planning, consumer research, regulatory risk analysis, capital investment and purchasing. He has a broad background in the leisure industry, having worked at Whitbread for five years (as director of investor relations).
Francesca has over 15 years of experience within the sports sector, both as a professional equestrian and more recently as a consultant to the industry.
While continuing competitive riding, Francesca worked in Business Development for betting software provider Betgenius, with the primary responsibility of developing the odds comparison side of the business. After the birth of her son, she set up as a freelance consultant, assisting small and medium sized businesses on a variety of new ventures and sales and marketing strategies before founding Regulus Partners in 2013.
As a former member of the lottery funded World Class programme and U21 International, Francesca has experience of elite level sports governance, management and organisation. Francesca has worked with both operators and regulators in matters concerning eSports, and regularly advises International clients on horseracing product.
Adam has a wealth of experience in sports governance and regulation, and widely-recognised expertise in sports integrity programmes and governance structures. He has an in-depth knowledge of the sector and a broad range of contacts across sport and related industries.
Adam’s twelve years in the sports industry include four as Director of Integrity, Legal and Risk at the British Horseracing Authority (BHA). During his time running British Horseracing’s integrity department, Adam led an extensive strategic and operational review, making a number of recommendations to transform the approach to protecting the sport’s integrity. Adam also played central roles in the creation of a ground-breaking new governance structure for horseracing, and in the establishment of a new model for the ownership and licensing of the sport’s data.
Prior to working at the BHA, Adam practised as a solicitor in DLA Piper’s top-ranked media and sports law team where he worked with clients across the sports, media and gambling industries on a range of regulatory, commercial, and contentious matters.
Tim has over 14 years’ experience working at a Senior level in the Gaming Industry. Combining his career long passion for product development and market insight he is focused on market and product innovation. Having worked in both the operating and supply side of the gaming industry he is uniquely equipped to advise many sectors in the market.
He was responsible for the market entry and delivering of VLT systems for Italy and recently delivered an Omni Channel payment solution for Coral. His expertise includes International Markets, Slot Gaming, Sports Betting and Technology Development.
