Sissel Weitzhandler

Sissel Weitzhandler is a C-level experienced compliance professional and advisor in the gaming industry who has been involved in multiple international projects, dealing with law makers and regulators all over the globe to help companies navigate the regulatory landscape and achieve successful market entries and compliant operations. In one of her most recent roles, she was entrusted with the development of Allwyn Group’s Compliance Programme (including its implementation across the group) and provided advice and strategic guidance on any regulatory aspects connected to Allwyn’s extensive M&A due diligence and transaction activities. Sissel has long-standing experience in managing international teams and has been instrumental in sustainably growing businesses that she has worked for, promoting a strong compliance culture. Her knowledge of corporate governance, operations, market requirements, and regulatory dynamics, business acumen and expertise has allowed her to successfully secure and maintain gaming licenses across the globe and to seamlessly integrate acquired companies into group structures. Sissel is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL), passionate about international law, business and relations, and holds a post grad in War Studies from Kings College London as well as an undergraduate in International Relations from London’s University of Westminster. Sissel has been a member in various forums and specialist groups, including EU Commission round-table workshops.
